Mild compost odour (1/5) detected at Checkpoint 3. Investigator noted very faint compost odour 150m east of 854/502 junction. Extremely faint, likely related to movement of material by crew still on site.
Distinct MSW/landfill odour (1/5) between Checkpoints 4 and 5 at north midpoint of landfill. Investigator noted crews working at the north edge of landfill so waste is in very close proximity to the road. No compost odour detected in this area.
Investigated Range Road 172 near location of complainant and no odours were detected.
