Offsite odour investigations have identified the following potential odour sources not related to Claystone activities:
- 57 Ave between 51 and 54 St, Ryley – strong hydrocarbon odours (2/5) detected, non-Claystone.
- Stagnant water pooled in ditch along 57 Avenue. This area has historically had anaerobic mud and may be releasing odours with warm temperatures.
- Agricultural odours detected in vicinity of 57 Avenue typical for spring agricultural operations.
