Program and Event Grants
Claystone is proud to offer grants to community not-for-profit organizations to help fund different activities. Our new grant categories make applying for a grant much easier!
The new Program and Event Grant provides funding for projects, programs, or events, including annual requests (e.g. FCSS Christmas Hampers).
Please complete the online application form to apply for a Program and Event Grant. You can download a copy of the application to gather the appropriate information before completing the online form.

Grant Recognition
Grant applicants will be required to outline how they will acknowledge or recognize Claystone’s contribution as part of the application process including, but not limited to, a card or letter, post on the organization’s website, media, social media, or photos shared with Claystone for its use.
By submitting a request for a grant, the applicant acknowledges that Claystone will make the award of any grant or donation public on its website, social media, or traditional media.
Where appropriate, Claystone would appreciate the opportunity to attend an event or otherwise meet with your organization to learn more about how the grant funds are being used.
Claystone may require additional measures of recognition based on the value of the grant issued.
Application Timelines
Grant applications for Program and Event Grants will be accepted and reviewed as follows:
- Intake Period 1: January 1 to May 30, applications reviewed in June
- Intake Period 2: July 1 to November 30, applications reviewed in December
Claystone Waste recommends that requests are made as early as possible prior to the activity start date to allow time to complete the funding cycle process.
The project, event or activity being applied for must be completed within six months of the date in which grant approval was provided. If an extension is required, please contact Claystone Waste’s Communication’s Department.
Grant Review and Scoring:
Claystone will review and assess your application using a defined rubric. Please review the rubric and keep the factors in mind when completing your application.
Please note that Claystone may not be able to fund all applications even if they meet the top score of the rubric. Decisions of the grant assessment panel will be final.
