Advisory: Two Employees Test Positive for COVID-19

Alberta Health protocols are being followed and risk to public is minimal 

 Ryley, AB: Claystone Waste Ltd. confirmed on Monday, November 23rd that two employees have tested positive for COVID-19. Both employees are now self-isolating and following protocols established by Alberta Health Services.

Risk to the general public is considered minimal. One affected employee is an office worker who has been working remotely with no contact with the public as part of their duties. The other affected employee works at the Ryley facility with very limited to no interaction with the general public.

All co-workers who were in direct contact with the affected employees are being tested and self-isolating until results are returned.

Securing the health and safety of our customers, staff and community is a top priority for Claystone Waste. Claystone Waste has implemented several measures to keep our employees and customers safe, including mandatory masking of employees, increased cleaning and sanitization, physical distancing measures and other operational changes to support the wellbeing of employees.
