Careers at Claystone

Help Create A Cleaner Future

Waste disposal and landfill management isn’t the kind of thing that appeals to everyone – but for those invested in it, it’s a world full of possibilities. Our actions make a real difference, helping to improve the quality of life for our communities today while laying the groundwork for a sustainable society that our grandchildren can inherit.

Beyond the satisfaction of leaving an impact that will last for generations, Claystone offers competitive salaries and wages, numerous benefits, and has a rigorous culture of safety and respect that has won recognition with industry leaders such as the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta and the Alberta Construction Safety Association.

Diversity and Inclusion

Claystone is committed to building and sustaining an inclusive work environment – one that welcomes, supports, respects, and values individuals for their unique experiences, perspectives, talents, and contributions.

To us, diversity celebrates all of the varied characteristics that make individuals unique from one another. Whether diversity refers to such attributes as gender, ethnicity, age, race, religion, disability, cultural and socio-economic background, nationality, sexual orientation, language, educational background, or expertise, we believe supporting and increasing diversity will not only generate tangible benefits for our business – but also for society as a whole.

To that end, we developed and implemented a Diversity & Inclusion Policy. This policy is our promise to strive to advance diversity at every level of our organization.

Beware of Recruitment Scams

We want to make sure you stay safe from fraudulent job offers pretending to come from Claystone Waste. If you ever receive an email or message that seems suspicious, here’s what you need to know.

Important: Claystone Waste never asks job applicants to pay any fees during the hiring process—ever. Our hiring process is always formal, transparent, and completely free of charge.

If you come across a suspicious message, look for these red flags:

  • It comes from a non-Claystone Waste email address (e.g., a Yahoo or Gmail account).
  • The wording is poorly written or contains unusual phrasing.
  • At some point, they ask for money or personal financial details.

If you receive a message like this, do not respond, share personal information, or send any payments. Instead, report it to your local police and provide any details you have (such as email addresses or phone numbers).

If you’re ever unsure whether a job offer from us is real, feel free to reach out to Claystone Waste directly. Stay safe, and thank you for your interest in joining our team!
