Odours are one of the most common concerns for landfills. Claystone takes odour management very seriously, and we continue to take proactive steps to manage odours and minimize impacts for those who live and work near our facilities.
One of the measures we take to help monitor and reduce odours includes regular odour checks within and along the perimeter of our site. This is done using the Nasal Ranger, a field olfactometer device that is commonly used at landfills and other waste management facilities.
