Claystone Awards $29,000 to Local Community Groups

Claystone Waste Ltd. is pleased to announce that it is awarding a total of $29,000 in grants to a variety of community groups located within the Beaver County region, as part of the Fall 2025 intake of the updated Claystone Community Grant Program.

“We had a great mix of applications for the first round of our updated program from groups across the region,” said Corey Popick, CEO. “Our community thrives when local groups have the resources they need to deliver meaningful programs and services to people of all ages, from children to seniors. We are proud to support their efforts through the Claystone Community Grant Program.”

The following not-for-profit and sporting organizations were selected for funding:

“These groups help enhance the quality of life within the region through youth sports, community events, wellness initiatives, local culture, and social supports,” added Popick. “The Community Grant Program is part of Claystone’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities we serve, and we thank all of our applicants for the work they do for residents across the region.”

Claystone’s updated Community Grant Program includes four grant categories: Program and Event, General Operating, Capital, and In-Kind grants. The revised program was launched on September 1, with applications accepted until October 31 for the Fall 2025 intake.

For 2026, intake periods for Program and Event, General Operating, and Capital Grants will be January 1 to May 30 and July 1 to November 30. In-Kind Grant requests may be submitted at any time.
