At Claystone, we’re proud to provide essential services — and just as proud to support our neighbours and the communities we call home. As a local, municipally owned organization, we reinvest in the communities we serve and support programs that make a real difference, especially during challenging times.
Community Grants in Action
Through our Community Grants Program, Claystone supported Viking/Beaver Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and the important work they do across eastern Beaver County, including the communities of Kinsella, Viking, Bruce, and Holden.
For decades, Viking/Beaver FCSS has operated a holiday hamper program to help individuals and families experiencing financial strain access food and essential resources during the holiday season. This program helps ensure that residents across the region have the support they need during that time.
During the 2025 holiday season, the program distributed 86 hampers, supporting individuals and families across eastern Beaver County. Beyond providing food and essentials, the program reflects the strength of rural communities — neighbours helping neighbours and coming together to help those who need it most.
Funding from Claystone’s Community Grants Program will be used directly to support families and individuals who expressed financial concern during this holiday season, helping Viking/Beaver FCSS continue delivering this important program.
Built Here, Invested Here
Claystone is a local company , run by your neighbours, and deeply invested in the future of our shareholder municipalities. Many of our team members live and work right here, providing waste management services to the same communities they call home. We reinvest locally through employment, infrastructure development, sustainability initiatives, and community programs like our Community Grants Program.
We’re grateful to work alongside organizations like Viking/Beaver FCSS and remain committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen our communities today and into the future.
