Ryley, Alberta – Beaver County is pleased to announce that it will receive a $1,618,172.12 dividend from Claystone Waste Ltd. in 2026, $70,355.31 more than the dividend paid out in 2025.
“This dividend from Claystone Waste Ltd. is a real, tangible benefit for Beaver County residents. It means we can keep moving ahead with important road construction and hard-surfacing projects that people rely on every day, whether that’s getting to work, hauling grain, or running a business. It also helps support community grants that benefit local organizations and enhance quality of life across the County.
Without this funding, we’d be looking at tough choices, either putting projects on hold or asking taxpayers to cover the difference through a significant increase. That’s something Council works hard to avoid.
Claystone isn’t just a service provider for our region, it’s a long-term partner that continues to deliver value back to the community. It’s a good example of how smart, local investment can help us maintain the infrastructure we need while supporting our communities and keeping taxes as fair and stable as possible for our residents.”
Reeve Gene Hrabec, Beaver County
“2025 marked the five-year anniversary of Claystone and we were pleased to celebrate that milestone by once again increasing the dividends to our shareholder municipalities. These dividends are an important source of revenue as municipalities face growing infrastructure deficits and funding pressure. Claystone dividends translate into real benefits for residents by supporting local services, projects, and long‑term community sustainability. This success reflects a strong regional partnership that delivers value back to the communities we serve.”
Meryl Whittaker, Chair, Claystone Board of Directors
