Claystone 7-Day Letters to AEPA
When Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA) receives a complaint about Claystone operations, or if we note an activity on our site that needs to be reported, we are required to prepare what is known as a “7-Day Letter.”
For issues reported to the emergency line, AEPA only provides the details of the concern – they do not provide any information regarding the complainant and therefore we are unable to contact any individuals with updates from our investigation.
As Claystone is committed to transparency, we will be posting the 7-Day Letters we prepare for AEPA on our website along with a summary of the concern and our findings.
Note: Letters may include references to “landfill odours” or “MSW”. This would refer to municipal solid waste, which is the everyday waste discarded by the public.
